Tickets and paying
Where do I buy a ticket?
Directly from the driver when you board. There is no need to buy anything in advance.
Can I pay by card on the bus?
Yes. You can pay the driver in cash or by card. You can also pay by card at our office.
Can I pay with a €50 note?
No. Notes larger than €20 are not accepted on board. Please carry smaller notes or coins, or pay by card.
How much does a journey cost?
The fare depends on the distance. You can check the exact price to every stop on each route page, in the Fare column.
From what age do children pay?
From the age of 7. Children under 7 travel free.
Luggage, bikes and pets
Can I take a bicycle?
Yes, on buses with more than 35 seats. You must remove one wheel and cover any sharp parts, as they can damage other passengers’ luggage. We recommend packing the bike in a bag or box. The owner is responsible for the bicycle at all times, both for any damage it suffers and any damage it causes.
Can I travel with a pet?
Yes, small pets are allowed provided they travel in a carrier and weigh no more than 10 kg. The carrier must measure no more than 45 x 35 x 25 cm and have a waterproof base.
Animals must not pose a danger or a nuisance to other passengers through smell or noise. The owner is responsible for the animal at all times.
On board
Can I reserve a seat?
No. Seats are taken on a first come, first served basis, unless the driver decides otherwise.

Travel cards for residents
The bono residente canario is a subsidised travel card for people officially registered as residents in the Canary Islands. If you are visiting the island, you do not need one: simply pay the driver.
Each island has its own card, so a card issued on another island cannot be used in La Gomera without completing the corresponding procedure. The resident card is personal and non-transferable; the prepaid bono monedero is not registered to a person and can be shared, even by several people at once.
